Wagons West offers guests an opportunity to be part of a unique American western vacation... Covered Wagon Trains in the Teton Wilderness. Thrill to the feel of a good team of gentle horses at the end of the reins as you try your hand at wagon driving. Trek along unused roads in the foothills of the Rockies near the mighty Tetons. Camp in grassy meadows by a melodious stream. Share in meals with newfound friends. Enjoy the evening wagon circle and campfire while relaxing to the singing of a cowboy. You can sleep in your covered wagon, in a tent, or under the stars.

Wagons West is an authentic replica of a pioneer covered wagon train as used by early settlers in their journeys west. Gentle riding horses are furnished for those who wish to ride. Guided trail rides explore the surrounding wilderness along the way. Meals are cooked chuckwagon style over an open fire using Dutch ovens.

Choose from two-day/one-night, four-day/three-night, or six-day/five-night packages. Trips run June through August. The two-day trips depart every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; the four-day trips depart every Monday and Wednesday; and the six-day trips begin every Monday.

Wagons West is affiliated with Yellowstone Outfitters, who are longtime, respected professional packers and outfitters of this region - since 1950. From their many years of outfitting wilderness pack trips, they came to the understanding that many people want to have a genuine outdoor experience but cannot spend the time or do not feel qualified to undertake such a strenuous expedition. From the recognition of the needs of these nature lovers Wagons West was developed.

Now anyone - from the youngest to the oldest, from the novice to the expert - can get away from the traffic and the crowd and really enjoy nature in a safe, comfortable style.

Each Covered Wagon Train, will be managed by a member of the family, and Wagons West will make every effort to assure you of a successful and enjoyable experience… one that you will cherish and always remember.
